Awash in faded blue mild or the glimmers of nightfall and crack of dawn, the dry, eroded terrains of the American West seem as otherworldly vistas within the works of Stockholm-based photographer Tobias Hägg (prior to now). Captured in spring of this 12 months, the aerial photographs peer down on or out around the huge, rugged landscapes referred to as badlands. Those areas are replete with geological formations and terrain variety, and Hägg spotlights such shifts in elevation and soil by means of documenting the rippling, ravine crevices and buttes that forget the realm. Gentle and shadow dramatize the pictures and intensify the textures and intensity of the extremely craggy topographies.

Prints of Hägg’s photographs are to be had in his store, and you'll be able to to find extra from photographer, together with new a approaching ebook comprising a decade’s price of labor, on Behance and Instagram.
